HideDid you get it right?
Hi Flo,
yes, "talíř" means "plate". Did you know that you can switch the dialogue into English and see the translation?
- Ano. A chcete to napsat růžově? Jestli ano, dáme dort na bílý talíř. Jinak to můžeme napsat bíle, a dát dort na růžový talíř.
Alright, and do you want that written in pink? If so, we'll put it on a white plate. Otherwise, we can write it in white, and put it on a pink plate.
- Napište to, prosím, růžově a dejte na bílý talíř.
Please write it in pink and put it on a white plate.
Let us know if you have any further questions. Good luck with your Czech studies!
Cheers,
Anna

What is the meaning of talíř here? Somehow I was expecting a plate but it doesn't seem to be the case here.
