Michael: This is Must-Know Czech Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 4. In this lesson, you'll learn Expressions to Describe How Easy/Difficult Something Is.

Michael: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:

Michael: Veronika, what's our first expression?
Veronika: pohodička
Michael: literally meaning "small well-being." But, when it's used as a slang expression, it means "chill, relaxation."

Michael: Use this slang expression when you want to express that something goes smoothly or is very relaxing.

Michael: literally meaning "chalk line." But, when it's used as a slang expression, it means "piece of cake."

Michael : Now let's hear an example sentence.

Michael: literally meaning "toy." But, when it's used as a slang expression, it means "easy work."

Michael: Use this slang expression when you want to express that something is very easy to do.
Michael : Now let's hear an example sentence.

Michael: "You don't have to worry, the task is very easy."

Michael: Okay, what's the last expression?
Veronika: makačka
Michael: literally and figuratively meaning "hard work."

Michael: Use this slang expression when you want to express that something is very hard to do, mostly used when speaking of hard manual work or physical exercise.

Michael: "Working as a ditch digger is hard."
